Norship is situated in the northernmost naval base on the East Queensland Coast and plays a strategic role in Australia’s regional naval and commercial capability. As one of the most well-resourced shipyard facilities in the far north, Norship is the largest employer for ship repair & maintenance. Based in Melbourne, the multi-disciplinary IDES team has developed and delivered a range of solutions from the National Broadband Network (NBNCo) communications demonstration semi-trailer to Communications and FP-ECM Vehicle Integration Kits (VIKs), Weapon Systems Integration, Special Forces Vehicles, Emergency Services Communications Vehicles and Trailers for the operation and transportation of special purpose equipment.
