TRANSPORTABLE AIR OPERATIONS TOWER

 

 

Enabling the development of an air traffic and control capability for military and civilian purposes.

Purpose-built comprising:

  • Trailer chassis assembly
  • Lifting system
  • Cabin platform assembly
  • Cabin access steps
  • Stabilising system
  • Transportable by air, road, rail and sea
  • Raises cabin platform to a height of 6 metres above ground
  • Compatible with B-Class Army vehicle towing systems
  • Integrated cabin loading/unloading capability for C-130 aircraft

TRANSPORTABLE TRANSPONDER LANDING SYSTEM

 

 

Designed in cooperation with US based company Advanced Navigation & Positioning Corporation (ANPC) for the Royal Australian Air Force, The Transportable Transponder Landing System (TTLS) is a precision approach guidance and surveillance system designed to provide all-weather airfield access and situational awareness for improved airport accessibility and safety.

The TTLS contains all typical TLS equipment on a vehicle-independent, self-contained trailer for all types of temporary and moveable applications, providing support for initial deployment of ground forces, disaster recovery, medical evacuations and humanitarian aid. The TTLS is transportable by road, rail car, Chinook helicopter, or a single C-130 aircraft, and can be installed and calibrated within 6 hours.

 

 

URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE

 

 

The Urban Search And Rescue (USAR) vehicle was designed for use by the Australian Army Incident Response Regiment (IRR) to enable carriage of USAR specialist equipment and crew to USAR incidents within Australia and in limited offshore deployments by road and by air in C130J Hercules aircraft.

USAR Vehicles incorporate a fixed chassis module with flexible storage shelfs and compartments and a rear loading area to carry USAR equipment. USA Vehicles are fitted with tie down provisions for C130J deployment. Other vehicle features include general & emergency lighting, power and sirens.
