QA, WHS and the Environment
Varley subscribes to a philosophy of ongoing improvement and utilises the QA approach to embed these changes. Our QA system is highly active, in constant review and is utilised as a key element of management control. Varley Divisions - Specialised Vehicles, Varley Defence and Varley Power Services are all certified to ISO 9001 requirements and the QA system has achieved certification to the exacting standards of Australian and overseas military customers.
Varley recognises that the company's future lies in the hands of its employees, and as such, Workplace Health and Safety is embodied into everyday work practices. GH Varley's WHS Management system operates under the guidance of WHS regulation 2012 with the emphasis on due diligence and continuous improvement for its employees, contractors and visitors. Our WHS Management System is dynamic to suit the company's needs whilst also maintaining federal, local and international legislation requirements.
Environmental protection is an issue of growing concern to all areas of society and Varley recognises its responsibility to the environment and the need for sustainability and waste management. Varley remains at the forefront of environmentally friendly technology and continues to embrace new and more effective means as they emerge.
